Warren Glenny Announces Retirement as President of CHRG.

Having served our country, clubs and community for over 70 years, Major General Warren Glenny, AO RFD ED, has announced his retirement as President of CHRG.

With an illustrious military, civil and volunteer career at the helm, Mr Glenny distinctively directed – leading with poise, particularity and perseverance.

During Mr Glenny’s longstanding tenure as President, in conjunction with the Board and Management, CHRG was meticulously directed through tremendous growth and diversification, including the acquisition of both Parramatta RSL and Lynwood Golf and Country Club, the development of Castle Hill Fitness and Aquatic Centre and more recently, the construction of the new Club Parramatta and the approval of a residential lifestyle development on the site of Castle Hill RSL.

Over the years, Mr Glenny has worked determinedly to achieve sustainable outcomes for the communities supported by CHRG’s venues. He has executed each of his responsibilities with a level of professionalism and dedication that has become synonymous with his kind and compassionate character. He is not only respected, but his contribution to the betterment of others is valued and admired.

Mr Glenny will continue to serve CHRG and its Members, as he remains as a Director on the Board. His ongoing contribution will be valued by the incoming President, Mr John Payne.
