From grassroots sport and local charities to vital community services, CHRG continues to invest in the people, places and organisations that make our communities stronger.

In 2025/26, Castle Hill RSL Group (CHRG) contributed $3.74 million to support the communities we're proud to be part of.

Across the Hills, Hawkesbury and Parramatta, this contribution reflects our ongoing commitment to making a meaningful difference beyond our venues. It supports local sporting clubs, charitable organisations, community programs and initiatives that provide essential services, create opportunities and bring people together.

But behind the figures are the stories that matter most. Families receiving support through difficult times. Young people discovering new opportunities. Volunteers giving their time. Local organisations working every day to improve the lives of others.

For CHRG, supporting our community isn't simply something we do. It's part of who we are.

Supporting People When It Matters Most

Strong communities are built on people looking out for one another.

Throughout the year, CHRG has continued to support organisations providing essential services to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.

Through our community grants and partnerships, organisations including Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney, Hills Community Aid and Dandelion Support Network have received support to continue their important work.

From crisis and suicide prevention services to youth programs, family assistance and essential supplies for babies and children, these organisations make a real difference in people's lives.

Our commitment also extends to supporting Veterans and their families, building on the proud legacy of Castle Hill RSL Club and its longstanding connection to the veteran community.

Each organisation has its own purpose, but they share a commitment to helping local people when they need it most.

Bringing Our Community Together

Sometimes, making a difference starts with people coming together for a shared cause.

In May 2026, more than 45 volunteers gathered at Castle Hill RSL Club to pack 672 Supertees, specially designed medical garments that help make hospital treatment a little easier for children and their families.

CHRG also proudly supported the 25th anniversary of Hills Relay for Life as a Major Sponsor, contributing $25,000 towards Cancer Council's work in research, prevention, advocacy and support services. The event brought together survivors, carers, families and supporters, raising more than $310,000 for Cancer Council.

At Club Parramatta, our community came together during Homelessness Week to support Parramatta Mission. Through a coffee donation initiative across CHRG venues, members and guests helped raise $3,348 towards essential meal programs and community services.

Our team also volunteered at Parramatta Mission's Hub Day, helping connect people experiencing homelessness and hardship with practical assistance and support.

These initiatives demonstrate that community contribution goes beyond financial assistance. It's also about showing up, lending a hand and working alongside organisations that make a difference.

Creating Opportunities Through Sport

Sport has always been an important part of CHRG's connection to the community.

From local sporting clubs and grassroots participation to junior development and competitive pathways, we believe everyone should have opportunities to participate, develop their skills and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle.

In 2025/26, CHRG invested $9 million in sporting facilities and activities, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to creating and improving spaces where people can participate, compete, connect and belong.

This investment complements our broader community contribution and helps ensure quality sporting and recreational facilities remain available to our members and the wider community.

Across CHRG Sports & Wellness Club, Castle Hill Bowling Club and Lynwood Golf & Country Club, we're continuing to develop facilities that support participation at every level.

Our partnership with Jack Newton Junior Golf at Lynwood is one example of how we're helping create pathways for young athletes, providing access to quality coaching and facilities as they develop their skills.

Whether it's a child participating in sport for the first time, a local team celebrating a milestone or an athlete working towards the next level, these opportunities contribute to healthier, more connected communities.

Creating Places Where People Belong

Our commitment to the community also extends to the places we create.

Across our hospitality, sport and recreation venues, CHRG provides spaces where members, families, friends and community groups can come together.

They're places to celebrate milestones, build friendships, enjoy shared experiences and participate in activities that enrich everyday life.

By continuing to invest in our venues and facilities, we're helping ensure they remain welcoming, accessible and relevant to the communities they serve.

Because a strong community needs more than services and programs. It also needs places where people feel connected and a sense of belonging.

Our Reason Why

Behind every contribution is a reason.

A family that needs support. A child who deserves an opportunity. A sporting club bringing people together. A community organisation working tirelessly to help others.

Our contribution is made possible through the ongoing support of our members, guests, team and community partners. Together, we can continue supporting the organisations and initiatives that make our communities stronger.

We're proud of what we've achieved together throughout 2025/26, and even prouder of the people and organisations whose work continues to make a difference.

Because for CHRG, supporting our community isn't just something we do. It's part of who we are.

This is our reason why.
