2024 Hills Shire ClubGRANTS: $450K Boost for Local Projects

Castle Hill RSL Club hosted the 2024 Hills Shire ClubGRANTS Presentation Day on Friday 16th August, celebrating 37 outstanding local projects awarded over $450,000 in funding. Representatives from community organisations, volunteers, and local leaders gathered to acknowledge the impact these initiatives will have on the Hills Shire community.

Funded by Castle Hill RSL Club, Baulkham Hills Sports Club, The Hills Club, and Glenorie RSL Club, the ClubGRANTS program supports projects that address critical areas such as health, social inclusion, skills development, family support, and cultural enrichment.

Highlights of this year’s grants include the “Run Against Violence” initiative, which tackles domestic violence prevention through community engagement, and Endeavour Foundation’s “Inclusive Shared Kitchen,” awarded $12,158 to refurbish a kitchen for individuals with disabilities, fostering independence and inclusion.

Brett Andrews, Chair of the ClubGRANTS Committee, praised the recipients: “These projects show what’s possible when we work together. The dedication of these organisations inspires us to build a brighter, more inclusive future.”

This year’s $450,000 in funding reflects the unwavering commitment of local clubs to enhancing the lives of residents. From early intervention programs to cultural events, these projects promise a lasting legacy of positive change.

The 2024 Presentation Day was a testament to community spirit and collaboration, reinforcing the vital role of local organisations in shaping a stronger Hills Shire
