CHRG Sports & Wellness Club – A New Era for Sport and Wellbeing in Castle Hill

For decades, gymnastics, fitness and swimming have been at the heart of the Castle Hill Fitness & Aquatic Centre. Day in, day out, it’s been a hub for movement, training, learning and connection – a place where families, athletes and community members come together with shared purpose.

Now, that legacy is entering an exciting new chapter.

As part of a major evolution in both identity and investment, Castle Hill Fitness & Aquatic Centre is officially becoming CHRG Sports & Wellness Club – a refreshed brand that reflects not only what the centre has always been, but where it’s headed.

At its core, CHRG Sports & Wellness Club is built around participation, progression and performance. But this transformation represents something bigger – a more complete approach to health and wellbeing that brings sport and wellness together in a way that extends beyond training alone. Because modern fitness isn’t just about exercise. It’s about recovery, balance, community, and sustainable lifestyle support.

Central to this evolution is a major renovation of the Fitness Centre’s wet areas, alongside the complete restoration of the Aqua Pool, representing a substantial investment in the future experience of the club. The upgraded wet areas will feature modernised showers, steam rooms, infrared saunas and improved spa facilities – spaces reimagined to serve members in both performance and restoration.

CHRG Group CEO David O’Neil said the refreshed branding and major upgrades reflect the organisation’s long-term commitment to sport and community wellbeing.

“CHRG has always believed in the power of sport to bring people together and support healthier, more connected communities,” David O’Neil said. “This new identity, alongside the significant investment in upgraded facilities, reinforces our commitment to providing high-quality spaces that benefit our members, our athletes, and the wider Castle Hill community for years to come.”

The new identity is built on the same foundations that have always defined this place – trusted gymnastics, swimming and fitness programs, delivered by the same experienced coaches, instructors and staff who have shaped its success.

This new chapter aligns with CHRG’s wider mission: to bring people together through sport, hospitality and lifestyle experiences that support wellbeing, connection and growth. With sport as a core pillar, the organisation remains committed to creating pathways from

grassroots participation right through to high-performance outcomes. This commitment is evident across CHRG’s sport portfolio, from recent investment in course maintenance equipment at Lynwood Golf & Country Club to the completion of an all-weather canopy and playing surface at Castle Hill Bowling Club.

Beyond its own venues, CHRG supports more than 25 sporting sub-clubs across the community, strengthening its role as a leader in participation and wellbeing through sport. With CHRG Sports & Wellness Club, this commitment to grassroots and competitive sport continues to deepen.
