Colourful Minds Market

Castle Hill RSL Club is proud to have supported the Colourful Minds Market, which took place on Saturday, 26th October at the
Club’s Lyceum. This unique event, aimed at promoting inclusion and mental health awareness, provided a safe and supportive space for neurodiverse individuals and those with lived  experiences of chronic illness, disability, and mental health challenges.

Through ClubGRANTS, Castle Hill RSL’s support of Colourful Minds Market is part of the group’s ongoing commitment to supporting mental health initiatives and fostering meaningful conversations within the community. This market aligned with this year’s Mental Health Month theme “Let’s Talk About It,” providing a platform for open discussion and connection through engaging activities.

The market, founded by 20-year-old Annelise, the creator of “Emotional Support Buddies,” reflects her personal journey with anxiety and her passion for mental health advocacy. Colourful Minds Market featured over 50 vendors offering handmade products and interactive activities such as conversation starter games, a vendor stamp rally, and small group sessions including crochet and bracelet making. These activities were designed to create a relaxed environment for attendees to practice conversations and build connections.

Castle Hill RSL Club is honoured to support this initiative, recognising the Colourful Minds Market as an essential event in creating a community that values inclusivity, positive mental health, and meaningful social connections.
