On Saturday 17th December 2022, the Directors of CHRG attended the Hills Hornets Basketball Association‘s Wheelchair Skills Christmas party.
This visit was particularly special, as unbeknownst to ‘The Wheelies’ kids, Santa arrived towing a sleigh of 4 x brand new Junior Sport Wheelchairs donated by CHRG.
This donation will significantly assist the Hills Hornets Basketball Association as its Wheelchair Skills Program grows from strength to strength, providing more kids with access to this supportive and inclusive program. Participation in sports is crucial for people living with a disability. It gives a sense of belonging, encourages camaraderie, develops resilience, and has many well-documented mental and physical health benefits.
