Played a pivotal role in the successful amalgamation of Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd and Castle Hill Bowling Club, where I demonstrated my ability to unite diverse stakeholders around common goals. This experience uniquely positions me to drive partnerships and synergies across CHRG’s network of businesses. With a diverse background in leadership, community engagement and governance along with being a Company Director’s Graduate, I am well-equipped to continue contributing meaningfully as a Director on the CHRG Board.

A CHRG member for 25 years and a current CHRG Group Director. John sits on the Governance Committee and has sat on the Risk Committee. John is the Managing Consultant of a specialist management consulting firm. He has extensive experience as a non-Executive Director, Board Member and Chairman for many government, membership-based, not-for-profit and unlisted commercial organisations. He would like to continue giving back to the selfless men and women who served.

After serving in the Navy, I worked as a Work Health and Safety Advisor in various industries. I am currently the Vice President Commemorations in the Castle Hill & Districts sub-Branch. My duties include planning and overseeing Remembrance Day, Australia Day Flag Planting and ANZAC Day Dawn Service. I also serve on the sub-Branch Welfare team assisting serving and ex-serving ADF personnel with claims for illness and injury. I have been an active JP for over 30 years and I am honoured to be the Chair of the NSW Justices Association Cumberland Branch. I am married with children and grandchildren.

Started following program for SB and Club – Day Club, Christmas hamper for widows, Starting, maintaining and increase visitation program for hospital and retirement village, Australia Day Flag ceremony. Provided RSL tribute at funerals for veterans from WW1 to Afghanistan. Director for Warrior Racing. Started Veteran Homeless program providing support to homeless veterans nationally.

Current Group President of CHRG and Trustee of Castle Hill RSL sub-Branch, with extensive experience in management and finance, gained in large financial institutions. Completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia with performance history in decision-making and a sound application of governance principles, ensuring a continued contribution to the Board and CHRG’s future. Past Chair of the Group Audit and Finance Committee and past Group Treasurer. Long term member of Castle Hill Fishing Club, active member of Castle Hill Fitness and Aquatic Centre and enthusiastic early morning Parramatta cyclist.

I’m re-nominating as a current, elected Director, Life Member of Castle Hill RSL Group (CHRG) and Castle Hill RSL sub-Branch. I am committed for the Board to have a vision and mission in place, to secure the Club’s future. It has been an honour and a privilege to be a Director of the Board and wish to continue. I am strongly dedicated to contributing to the exciting opportunities the Club has. Having held Executive and Board positions, I continue to be involved with many of the Club’s sporting and community groups. I see, again, I have a lot to offer.

Michelle is a retired Chartered Accountant, having worked for a big 4 firm for over 30 years, where her portfolio included not-for-profit entities including Clubs such as CHRG. Having lived in the Hills District for over 45 years, she has sat on various community committees serving as Treasurer, including Castle Hill Dolphins Swimming Club. Married with 3 sons, Michelle enjoys going to the gym, swimming, cycling and travelling.

A previous Director of Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd. (2009–2016) reappointed in 2024, after serving in the NSW Government as Minister for Police, Emergency Services, Transport, and Veterans Affairs. A graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon, serving as a Captain in the Bougainville peacekeeping force. With 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and public policy, David is committed to ensuring the Club remains a family-friendly, affordable, and community-focused institution, upholding its strong heritage while serving as an invaluable asset to members and the broader Hills community.

Current Director, Life Member of Club Group and Swimming Club. Over twenty years on Club Group Building Committee, qualified Civil Engineering Construction Superintending Officer, qualified General Superintendent for building and civil construction and maintenance. Club Group representative on the Hills Shire Local Emergency Management Committee, SES qualified for disaster management assistance. Past Secretary of Group Sports Council, Patron of Adult Swimming Club, Dolphin Swimming Club, Castle Hill Pipe Band for 22 years until December 2023, and Parramatta RSL Pipe Band. Current sub-Branch Life Member and awarded Meritorious Service Medal for over thirty years outstanding service to sub-Branch and RSL Australia.

Current Director. Former President, CHRSL sub-Branch. Ex-Navy. Gulf War veteran. 32-year member of CHRSL and sub-Branch. Sub-Branch Life Member, Fishing club member. Long-term community volunteer with Hills Relay for Life, Christmas in the Hills and Marine Rescue. 2022 NSW Government Community Service Award recipient. With experience in business, safety and risk management systems, planning, and leadership, I am committed to implementing a strong strategic plan, providing value, as well as ensuring we maintain first-class facilities and a welcoming atmosphere for members across all venues, including our communities in the Hills, Parramatta and Hawkesbury.

Neill is a dynamic and progressive leader in the IT industry with marketing and accounting qualifications. He has extensive corporate experience in the technology and hospitality industries, including, governance, strategy, risk management, financial discipline and digital innovation. These attributes will assist the board in servicing a growing and diverse community. As a long-standing Hills resident and CHRG member, Neill has previously nominated for the Board and is eager to progress change at the club to better service members, from families through to retirees. Neill has been an active member and coach in local sporting clubs such as soccer and baseball.
