On Friday 18th November, CHRG supported the Pace Foundations’ second Street Feast Event on the forecourt of St Mary’s Cathedral in the CBD.
Just like the Parramatta Street Feast, an army of volunteers came out to cook a delicious lunch, and share a meal with some of the CBD’s most vulnerable.
This is an incredibly heart warming community event and we feel so privileged to be in a position to offer our support, volunteer services and companionship. A healthy meal, a warm smile and a conversation – are small gestures that mean so much to so many.
Congratulations to the Payce Foundation, sponsors, local charities and volunteers who have come together for a common cause – giving back to the less fortunate in our communities.
