2026 Triennial Board Election
Expressions of Interest are now invited from eligible Category 1 and Category 2 members interested in nominating for election to the Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd. Board of Directors, as part of the 2026 Triennial Board Election.
Serving as a Director is an opportunity to contribute to the long-term success of CHRG and the communities it serves. Directors are responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing governance, financial stewardship and organisational performance on behalf of the membership.
In accordance with the Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd. Constitution and Board Eligibility Framework, members interested in standing for election are invited to register their Expression of Interest and attend one of the compulsory Pre-Nomination Workshops before lodging a formal nomination.
There are three (3) Director positions to be filled as part of the Club’s 2026 Triennial Board Election.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to nominate for election as a Director, candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements contained with the Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd. Constitution, including Clauses 53(a), 54 and 54A, and the requirements of the Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd. Board Eligibility Framework. To be eligible to nominate for election as a director, candidates must:
- Be a Category 1 or Category 2 member for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years as at the close of nominations on Monday, 14 September 2026.
- Attend one of the compulsory Pre-Nomination Workshops.
- Complete and submit the Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd. Board of Directors Nomination & Assessment Pack by the close of nominations.
- Be nominated by two (2) eligible financial Category 1 and/or Category 2 members who have each been financial members of the Club for at least five (5) consecutive years immediately preceding the date they sign the nomination form.
- Participate in an interview with the Independent Assessment Panel to ensure nominees demonstrate an appropriate level of readiness before standing for election.
- Meet the Board Eligibility criteria, determined through the Independent Assessment Framework. Candidates who satisfy the required standard proceed to the member ballot, where members continue to determine who is elected.

Expressions of Interest may be registered from Monday, 3 August 2026.

Completed Expressions of Interest Forms should be emailed to duffyc@chrg.com.au.
Expressions of Interest must be submitted by Thursday, 20 August 2026.
Compulsory Pre-Nomination Workshops
The pre-nomination workshops provide prospective candidates with an overview of the role and responsibilities of a Director, the Board Eligibility Framework, governance obligations and the nomination process. All prospective candidates must attend one of the following workshops at Castle Hill RSL Club:
Eligibile members who attend a workshop and wish to proceed with their nomination will be issued with a Board Director Nomination Pack to be completed in full and submitted with all supporting documentation and information prior to Monday September 14, 2026.

Successful candidates will be advised of the election outcome prior to the Annual General Meeting.
Election Process
Candidates who meet the Board Eligibility standard, following assessment by the Independent Assessment Panel, will proceed to the official ballot and be presented to eligible members for election, in accordance with Clause 55 of the Constitution.
